Talent alert!
We wanted to give the spotlight to TwoCan, a pair of brothers from Melbourne, Australia. These two can (see what we did there?) really produce: with 5 releases in just over a month and topping a million ‘plays’, they are certified Relauxable! Currently they are hard at work in the studio preparing to make an international splash both online and on tour. We’ve been lucky enough to score an interview and share with you some of our favorite tracks to date. These fantastic chaps have included free download links, so you can enjoy some of the best future trap in a locale of your choosing.

First and foremost we want to discuss “Fire”, an artistic cornerstone for TwoCan that uses samples from RKelly’s “Burn it up” and builds a soaring anthem of drifty synths, claps, and futurized vocals. This track alone is enough to get people talking, but as aficionados of chill, we’ve included additional tunes from their repertoire (see below). Explore what these guys have to offer and keep an eye out for big things from TwoCan!

Q: As brothers, do you build your music in sections or work together on each aspect of a tune?

A: One of the main advantages of being a “duo” is being able to bounce ideas off one another; we often spend our time producing together. This, we feel, gives us the best possible outcomes when it comes to creating and critiquing ideas.

Q: Do you mind having your music labeled as one genre or another?

A: We both struggle to categorize our music under one genre but if we somehow had to give you an answer it would combine elements from: Electro, Trap, Hip-Hop and RnB. We hope that’s a good enough answer!

Q: We noticed you also have house-oriented project SachHaber. Did that emerge parallel to Two Can or did one come before the other?

A: SachHaber was a project which we started a year ago and had tons of fun with. However, we unanimously decided that the electro house scene was no longer for us (hence the change to Two Can), which has been a great outlet for our more alternative musical ideas.

Q: The “Australian explosion”, led by producers like Flume, Wave Racer, and Touch Sensitive is an emerging phenomenon in North America. How has this success affected your music and growth?

A: Australia’s emergence as a musical phenomenon has influenced us dramatically. Talented individuals like Flume, Yahtzel, Wave Racer, Hayden James and RÜFÜS – to name a few, continue to inspire the work we do and it is an honor to be considered a part of it.

Q: Now that you’ve had a few successful tracks under your belt, what’s next?

A: Since signing with The Agency Group we have been working very hard on our profile at home and overseas. We both really hope to have a tour planned in the next couple of months so stay tuned! Also we have been working very hard in the studio on some new material, which we will share in the next few weeks!!
Thanks Relaux for having us and we wish you all the best!
